College tennis served in valley

When the National Collegiate Tennis Classic moved its event to La Quinta Resort & Club, it got an enthusiastic supporter in tennis director Tom Gorman.
The NCTC, which will be played Friday through Sunday, is the first major invitational college tournament of the season, featuring the top men's and women's programs.
And Gorman, the former U.S. coach for the Davis Cup and the Olympics, feels this tournament will give tennis fans a look at players who could be big newsmakers in a few months. http://bit.ly/5P30Ld
