Chef Robert Douglas joins The Citrus Club

Chef Robert Douglas comes to The Citrus Club family most recently from Gozzer Ranch Club in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, rated best new private course 2008 by Golf Digest. Robert first came to the desert to help with the Madison Club in its inaugural year before moving north to head the culinary program at Gozzer Ranch.

Most notably, Robert worked in a Tom Colicchio (Top Chef fame) concept restaurant named Cassique, at a private club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina for two years. Here, he fell in love with the slow cooking movement. He continued to refine his cooking style and believes “each dish should be hand crafted using the freshest ingredients and classic techniques”. The restaurant will provide a return to great service “the old school way” where food and service will simply be the best.
