    Apparently, the Texas Christian Horned Frogs just like the desert, no matter which golf course they play. For the second consecutive year and the third time in eight years, the Horned Frogs won the Prestige at PGA West college golf tournament, Tuesday at the TPC Stadium Course.

    Sunrise on the Dunes

    I was very fortunate to be out on the links this morning and wanted to give you a quick update on the condition and playability of our Dunes Course, located at the La Quinta Resort and Club, in the heart of downtown La Quinta.

    We were one of the first groups off this morning, so my first observation was what a stunning and cool morning! If you’re going to play a lot of golf in the desert, do it early!  It was right at 80 degrees when we teed off and when we finished it was still less than 90 degrees!
